Unwind Rewind 94 Silver Linings…

Hi friends… In this program we explore sad songs that make us happy… We discover silver linings… We thank Albert Bourla from Pfizer for the quick return to normal post Corona life in Israel… Finally we allow ourselves to just be present, feel and see the beauty in the smallest of things… What a wonderful world…

Unwind Rewind 91 Sign of the times

Today we start with a Leonard Cohen song that is 50 years old… To then discover some more contemporary jewels… We see how artists get inspired by the generation before and how they elaborate music into the sounds of their own… We go back and forth in time just like sampled songs do… Then to a few covers that will blow you away. We end with sign of the times as all the music we hear now is a representation of this era we live in…

Unwind Rewind 84 There’s a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in

As Leonard Cohen teaches us

“Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in”

Ahead of Hanukkah, the festival of light , we go back to our childhood dreams, our heartbreaks and connect to our inner child’s wishes. We remind ourselves to accept darkness in order to have light. We remember that we are all equal even if different. That the contrast of black & white is necessary in order to find balance. No darkness without light, no light without darkness.

May you all have a wonderful Hanukkah and get lost in an abundance of light…

Unwind Rewind: My Tribute to Leonard Cohen

Although it was only my 4th radio program and I sound like a total amateur, this is my personal Leonard Cohen tribute. I didn’t even have a jingle yet, but I already said ‘Hi friends’ just like him on stage. A lot of live songs and stories from my road adventures with the Unified Heart Touring Company in 2010…

Unwind Rewind 70 ‘Home is where the heart is’

Today we are both traveling abroad and journeying within. Through anxiety, worries and uncertainty. Until the acceptance and the letting go of control. Through breathing and meditating we learn to accept what is and enjoy simply being. As everything in life, we learn that nothing is as black and white as our mind perceives it and we practice the balancing of dark and light grey areas… We end by discussing the concept of ‘home’….
